Mommy dressed Asher this morning in a onesie and shorts that fit and had a little bit of room, and  Daddy took him to PapaGaga’s (or papagug’s as he has started to call it). He took his nap in his onesie after lunch. When Gaga went to put his shorts back on, they didn’t fit!  The button would not button!  Silly boy must have eaten a big lunch. I am sure he will be a wee bit taller in the next couple days. He sure does grow quickly. He has been very lucky so far and has not shown any signs of growing pains. Hopefully it stays that way!

Asher received Mommy and Uncle Jonathan’s old wagon today. Even though it was cold and rainy, Gram, Asher, Aunt Jen, Uncle Lee, Papa, Daddy, Mommy, and the newest member of the family, Bernie (she was just adopted on Saturday) went for a walk to test the wagon. The wagon is lined with red carpet from Mommy’s room she grew up in.

Asher and Papa had to read the newspaper before he went home today.

Four days ago, Asher and Mommy stopped at Walgreens.  Mommy was on the phone with Daddy telling him about the book The Missing Piece Meets the Big O.  Today they stopped again and before they were even in the parking lot, Asher started saying Big O.  Amazing the things he remembers!

Asher, Daddy, and Mommy went to the Akron Zoo today. We saw several animals. Among Asher’s favorites were:

Monso: flamingos
Eee dar: sea star
Optapa: octopus
Cab: crab
Menga: penguins
Wickkk: fish

We also saw lemurs, lions, leopard, snakes, fish, and the new baby Komodo Dragons. Asher got a new stuffed animal, a Nemo fish.

Later in the day he played outside in the grass and driveway and grass. He didn’t like walking in the grass very much.  He and Mommy also walked all the way to the corner and back.
