Tonight Asher, Daddy, and Mommy were invited to attend the Akron Children ‘s Hospital Tree Preview Gala at the John S. Knight Center. Mr. Rick, Miss Sherry, Dr. and Dr. Frederick, Mr. and Mrs. Twyon, and Mr. Pavloff also attended. Asher was really good at dinner. He enjoyed seeing the trees. His favorite one had red lights and red decorations one of which was a giant peppermint looking decorations. He also was impressed by the Peanuts, Indians, and moustache trees. He and Mr. Rick played a counting game during dinner which kept him occupied. He really didn’t grasp the entire dessert tables concept. (They have several tables of just desserts and some people purchase dessert only tickets.) We went up and he wanted a cookie. Once we got his one cookie he wanted to go back to our table and didn’t understand why Mommy was still putting desserts on our plate. He had a few cookies and cupcakes for dessert. His favorite was a hard, rectangle chocolate cookie with a little white icing on one half and an iced red rose on it.

He saw Santa and Mrs. Claus walking around after dinner. He went up and talked to them really well and told them he wants a paddle ball for Christmas because his other one broke. When it was time for Daddy to take his picture he turned shy.

On our way home from Papagug’s we saw Santa driving. Mommy told him there was Santa driving and of course his reaction was to ask what kind of car (a silver Saturn Vue) and then he said “That’s insersing (interesting).”
