Spiffy

Gaga wasn’t feeling well and ran out of tissues. She gave Asher permission to play with the roll of toilet paper she was using. He decorated the room and said it was “spiffy” and the room looks great!

He was looking for Papa’s other shoe prior to watering the plants. Only two incidents this time with watering the plants: one full cup of water ended up on the kitchen floor because he slipped on a drip of water and some “dirt and water” spilled out when dumping the water in the plant in the living room. At least he is doing his chores!

General Update

Sorry, Mommy has neglected updating this recently.  Asher has changed a ton in the past month.  He has started to really participate in conversations by asking questions and now waiting for the answer before continuing, his social skills are growing, he has gotten a little taller, and a bunch of other stuff.  You will notice in the photos, we turned his car seat around last weekend so he is now front facing.  This has opened up an entire level of conversation during our drives.  Mommy has been trying to keep up on taking at lease one photo each day of school but some days get missed.  These are about once a week or so since summer 2014. He started in preschool with Miss Carol and Miss Colleen in September at two half days and added another half day in January. He seems to really like going to school three days a week now that he has adjusted.

Tiger Tots lesson

Today, Grandmaster Andrachick taught Tiger Tots for the first time in about ten years, and Asher got to take part in the class. They worked on different warm-ups, power behind punching (by hitting a pool noodle as far as they could across a mat), balance (by walking with a pad on their head), and forms. Grandmaster Andrachick worked with Asher on his own (they are in the front left ring). He really seemed to enjoy the class even though there was a lot going on that was distracting, Asher seemed to do pretty well.
