Asher-isms

  1. Asher had some good ones today:

After asking Asher to put away 2 light sabers and a costume: What do you think I am, a threedapus?

Our house is a messy mess. I think I will vacuum.

“This not the Kraken. I saw a picture of a Kraken on a wine bottle and this is DEFINITELY not it. Just look at the wine bottle and you will see the Kraken doesn’t have those pointy things on his head”

Seamus and heaven were on Asher’s mind:

Asher: Seami went to heaven while I was at school awhile ago.

Mommy: Yes he did. It was a little over a year ago.

A: are dinosaurs in heaven?

M: I have never thought about it, but I guess they would be.

A: (concerned look on his face)They are going to eat me when I get there because they eat meat and I am meat.

M: Hmm… I think there is food provided for them so you don’t have to worry about that.

A: So, we need to take some meat for them. Oh and some crabs for Nani and Cora (the octopuses from Akron Zoo that have passed away). Oh and definitely some special treats for Seami!

Bake, Mice, Bake

Tonight’s book:

It was a little bit more challenging anand much longer. (It required a break in the middle for a drink of water.)

He did SO well.  I can’t even begin to express how proud Mommy and Daddy are of him.  He never ceases to amaze us.

Asher was a lottle embarrassed to tell Miss Kim what he did last night. She was very proud of him also. She said that he was a big help this week at school because he can read all the kids names on their cubbies.

On our way home from school, we stopped at the dollar tree (ever notice that the logo is a tree and that the trunk is a 1? Asher did when he read the sign he said it was the 1 dollar store – another person walking into the store at the same time never noticed it either.)  Leaving there he asks what’s that smell? Mommy didn’t smell anything so asked him if it was something in one of the bags. He said no. She asked if he tooted (huge sniff) “Excuse me, I guess I did and man does it smell bad!”
