Daddy: Do you know what yeast is and how it works?

Asher: Yes, it is that way (pointing east).

Daddy then explained how the yeast in the pizza dough Mommy was making works.

Miss Persinger had Asher perform the STAR test in math today.  He is testing in first grade.  He has a decent amount of areas to work on. AWD STAR Math 2-13-18

Asher has experienced an influx of headaches.  In the past week he has had four headaches.  Last Tuesday he got one at school but was not allowed to have his medicine for some reason.  Wednesday he got one on our way home from school and Ibuprofen was given as soon as we got home which alleviated the pain.  Saturday around 11:00 am he got one and was given Ibuprofen.  We tried taking him to taekwondo so he could go to the trick kicking clinic, but the headache got worse on the way to Hudson.  He ended up getting extremely nauseous and his legs started to hurt so he could barely stand.  An almost four hour headache alleviated most of it, but for the rest of the night if he turned his head too fast he complained it hurt.  Monday he got another one at KPR.  The administered the Ibuprofen and it seemed to work.  He did complain for about 10 minutes after getting home that the light hurt his head, but after eating some dinner he did not complain again.  Hopefully today is a headache-free day!

Asher brought home his interim report for kindergarten today.  Not too shabby 🙂  He just has to work on keeping his body in control and neater handwriting.
