Asher went to see Dr. Li for his six month allergy check. He is doing well and no need for changes at this point. Recheck in six months. During the visit we found out he is officially four feet tall!

Teeth
Asher’s front tooth on his right side is a little bit loose! The matching bottom one has been loose on and off for a couple months. He is very excited for the potential of the tooth fairy coming soon.
The Time Has Come
On Saturday, April 7, 2018, Asher will test for his first degree black belt in taekwondo. He started classes at Asian Sun as a Tiger Tot on June 18, 2014. He was only two years and nine months old. He “graduated” to children’s/family class when he became a green tip on June 11, 2016. He has enjoyed the journey, but it was not with many tears, arguments, and whining about going to class. His first two belt tests he did not even break a board because “it was going to be too loud,” and his first board break during a test was completed while wearing noise reducing ear muffs. Ash has come such a long way, and Mommy and Daddy are beyond proud of the accomplishments he has made in taekwondo.
In order to test for your first dan black belt, you must write a thesis. Asher and Mommy started this process two months ago. Below you can read what Ash’s answers were during the two months of asking the same/similar questions. These are his exact answers.
Good luck, Squish! We love you 🙂
Still has its color
Asher was telling Mommy and Daddy about movies they have watched in KPR (before and after school program) on movie day. This time they could vote on Babe or The Good Dinosaur. He voted on The Good Dinosaur. Dad was telling him how Babe thinks he is a dog and Asher wanted to know how he knew that. Daddy explained he had seen the movie before. Babe came out in 1995 when Dad was 10.
Asher: It still has it’s color.
Daddy: What? (Mommy laughing too hard to respond)
Asher: It’s old, but I hasn’t lost it’s color yet.
Daddy: So you mean as movies get older they lose their color?
Asher: Yeah, and Babe still has it’s color so it isn’t that old!
Daddy: Well, you better watch Babe before it loses it’s color or else it will just be a black and white pig instead of pink.
Sick
Asher is FINALLY back in school today. The school nurse called last Friday because Asher had a temperature of 102.7. He battled the temperature all weekend and was fever free for over 24 hours, but he woke up Monday Morning with pain in his legs and hips and his temperature went up again. He tested negative for the flu, so Dr. MacCallum gave him a wide spectrum antibiotic.
His arms were bothering him when he woke up on Wednesday so he stayed home from school again. He and Mommy worked together on an ocean puzzle with 300 pieces that they worked on Tuesday and Wednesday.
